The service
One endpoint, four capabilities, metered in units.
This page describes what an approved installation receives. It is written for people who have been given this address deliberately.
Capabilities
generate
Generation
Free-form composition from an instruction. Drafting, summarising, rewriting, restructuring and reasoning over text you supply. Suitable for document work, correspondence, analysis and anything that reads better composed than templated.
extract
Extraction
Structured fields from unstructured material. You supply the document and a schema; the response validates against that schema, so downstream systems receive typed fields rather than prose they must parse.
embed
Similarity
Numeric representations of text for comparison. Used for search, deduplication, clustering and matching inside your own systems. The representations are yours to keep and reuse.
image
Imaging
Raster images rendered from a written description, for plates, figures, illustrations and material that does not yet exist as a picture.
Metering
Units, not invoices of arithmetic
Every call consumes a whole number of units. You see consumption as it happens in your console; you never see rates, costs or anything about how the work is performed, because none of it is your concern.
A monthly allowance
Each account is provisioned with a monthly unit allowance and two thresholds. Crossing the soft threshold raises a warning and service continues. Crossing the hard threshold refuses further calls until the allowance is raised.
A monthly statement
At the close of each month your consumption is totalled and a statement is issued, broken down by capability. The same figures are visible in your console at all times; the statement is the settled record, downloadable.
Access
Approval first
You request access and describe the intended work and volume. The request is reviewed by hand. There is no trial period, no automatic issuance and no self-service path around the review.
Provisioned deliberately
An approved account is provisioned with a unit allowance, a call rate and a verification key, sized to the volume described in the request. These can be revisited as the work grows.
Your own credentials
From your console you issue access tokens yourself. Each token is shown exactly once, at the moment it is created, and can be rotated or revoked at any time without involving anyone.
Integration
Everything an installation needs is three things.
Endpoint
A single base URL serves all four capabilities. The address is provided when your account is provisioned.
Access token
Each call carries one of your tokens. Tokens are attributable, revocable and shown once at issue.
Verification key
Every response is signed. Your verification key confirms a response came from your account's provisioned service and has not been altered in transit.
There is nothing else to install, no library to adopt and no other address to call.
Request an account
Describe the work and the volume. Requests are reviewed by hand; approved accounts are provisioned and contacted.
